To record these free lighter sound effects we grabbed a bunch of different lighters we had laying around, went to the studio, and recorded 40 audio wav files of ourselves flicking, opening, and closing them in varying ways. Since we used a variety of lighters, the sample pack includes a range of different lighter sound characteristics. And because we used a fine condenser mic, you can even hear the gas pouring out in some of these recordings. However, they aren’t high-passed yet, so you might hear a bunch of unwanted bass frequencies you want to cut out for optimal results.
